Playing:

  1. All players must be on the alley for 20:45 (8:45pm). After this time the late player will be dropped.
  2. All players must tell the Captain if they are unable to play the following week.
  3. Any player who does not turn up without giving the Captain 24 hours notice will incur a £1 fine and will be dropped the following week.
  4. Players that are dropped or are not playing must be on alley when team is playing.
  5. Players who are dropped who wish to play the following week must stay for a minimum of 2 legs.
  6. All players must be on alley when team is playing.
  7. Regular players who are work Shifts or Standby, may by default play the following week.
  8. Players will be dropped from next game if they do not turn up, are ill, on holiday or are working/working late.
  9. A player can still play if they have given 24 hour prior notice and they arrive no later that 21:30 (9:30pm) (regular occurrences will result in the drop)

 

Chalking:

1.      The Player with the lowest score must chalk the away team’s leg.

2.      Home games Top to Bottom & Away games Bottom to Top.

 

Highest Score:

1.      £5 for 39 and under

2.      £10 for 40 and above

3.      If highest score is a tie, players can split the money or bowl off.

4.      Player(s) must always take the money.

 

Lowest Score:

  1. Lowest score(s) will have the drop.
  2. If 2 or more players tie for the lowest score, they will bowl off the following week.

 

Subs:

1.      Each player must pay £2 to play

2.      New players must pay £2 to play

3.      Sticker up and under 16’s do not need to pay.

 

Raffle:

1.      Every Player must buy a home game raffle ticket. (75% of kitty money comes from the raffle).

2.      Every player is expected to be polite and buy an away raffle ticket.

 

The Book:

1.      The book must be filled in every week in full.

2.      Everyone owns the book and is entitled to see the book at any time.

 

The Kitty:

1.      To qualify for a Kitty payout a player must play at least 6 games that season.

2.      The Kitty will be divided up at the end of every season.

3.      Shootout, Tour and other Social will have no relation to the kitty money.

4.      No money shall ever carry over to the next season.

5.      The Kitty money shall be divided up using the following sum:

(Kitty total £) divided by (number of games in season “excluding cup games”) divided by 10

This will give the £ per game played per player.

6.      Money left over from the players who have played less than 3 games shall divided up between the other player who has player 3 or more.

 

Trophies and Averages:

1.      At the end of each season awards for top leg score and highest & lowest averages will be given.

2.      To qualify for average award a player must play at least half of that seasons games.

 

Knockout & Cup Games:

1.      No Money shall be put in or taken out the “Kitty” during Knockout/cup games.

2.      A Knockout/cup game will count towards your end of season average.

3.      A Knockout/cup will not be counted in “Number of games played” in “Kitty” payout.

4.      Players who get the drop on the previous Friday shall be entitled to play Knockout/cup subject to player availability. 

Outgoings:

1.      All costs in running the team shall be recorded in the book.

2.      Outgoings shall include the Sticker-up, Food, Raffle prize, highest score and pay-as-you-go phone top-up (see mobile phone)

 

Captains/Teams Mobile:

1.      A free mobile phone has been donated to the Team by Gavin.

2.      This pay-as-you-go phone shall be only be used for player availability.

3.      This phone shall be topped up with Kitty money.

4.      The phone shall be left with reserve Captain when regular Captain is away.

5.      All invoices for top-up must be kept for end of year balance sheet.

Rule Changes:

1.      Rules may be changed before and at the end of any season.

2.      Rule changes will be made with a show of hands vote.

3.      All regular players must be present at vote.

 

 

Website:

 

1.      The team website www.drfcskittles.co.uk is paid for by Gavin not the kitty.

2.      Website shall be updated every week with results, fixtures and player scores.
